Jewish prisoners are the most hidden, hated and isolated segment of our nation's Jews. JEWS BEHIND BARS is a ground-breaking podcast that will explore this hidden population that defies stereotype.

Their stories will be told through their own words, and those of their families, rabbis and other prisoners and clergy. Themes of redemption, forgiveness, Jewish faith and identity in the harsh environments of our country's prisons will be explored.

Season One is currently in development. Ten 15 to 25 minute podcasts will be released bi-weekly. They will be highly produced and crafted narrative true stories. Some of the podcasts will be audio from raw, never seen or heard documentary film footage of Jews incarcerated in prisons in New York and Florida, including death row.
